This initiative is the first under O’Brien Electrical and Plumbing Warrnambool’s new ‘Give and Grow’
program, designed to support the community in meaningful, hands-on ways. Rather than traditional sponsorships, the business is committed to rolling up its sleeves and working alongside communities to deliver practical outcomes.
“We want to be able to give back to our local community to grow our local community,” said O’Brien Electrical and Plumbing Warrnambool Operations Manager, Todd Noble.
“We’re a family company and we do care about our community. For us in Warrnambool, our business supports 18 families, and all of those 18 families live in our communities, including Winslow.
“Being able to support our community is a big part of what we do.”
The day of work also featured a community barbecue lunch, giving locals, suppliers, and tradespeople the chance to come together and celebrate the project and its impact.
“This project will make the hall a more user-friendly facility, and for future generations,” said Winslow Mechanics Institute Hall committee member, Janine Bubb.
